In Cho, Chair
In Cho is the co-founder of Passive House For Everyone and ChoShields Studio. She also is a Visiting Assistant Professor and serves as the Sustainability Coordinator for Undergraduate Architecture at Pratt Institute. A Registered Architect in NY, NJ, and CT, she is an internationally Certified Passive House Designer and a recognized industry leader in sustainable architecture and education.
With a multi-disciplinary focus spanning low-carbon architectural design, environmental education, and policy advocacy, Cho champions sustainability initiatives, reaching diverse audiences from industry professionals to youth. Her impact extends both locally and globally, advising as an industry expert on the NYC Energy Conservation Code, training AEC industry professionals on Passive House principles, and lecturing on her Passive House projects and transformative educational initiatives.
Driven by the profound benefits of energy-efficient, healthy, and comfortable buildings for people and the environment, Cho co-founded Passive House for Everyone (PHFE) to empower all through youth-centered education and supportive networks, helping everyone thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
